Unicorn Purist Phase 2 Tungsten Barrels Only 24 gram Darts – Available from Deadeye Darts.

The Phase 2 Tungsten as used by Phil Taylor on TV from 1999 to 2007.

This is the current Unicorn packaging – as you can see this set only comes with the barrels and this Unicorn embossed dart wallet – the barrels are guaranteed weight certified to be within 0.1 gram of each other.

The actual barrels are manufactured from 90% Tungsten.




The barrels are 53.5mm long with a diameter of 6.6mm - all the barrels are engraved with the Unicorn hallmark of quality and player signature.

Phil Taylor’s original Purist features additional grooves to the back of the barrels for extra grip. The dart would be a 3 on the Deadeye Grip Rating Scale.

The Deadeye Grip Rating is based on a 1 to 5 scale with 5 having the most grip. It is only our opinion based on years of experience handling many different darts; ultimately the final verdict rests with the user!

We are no longer commenting on the balance of the barrel as all the darts we sell are precision made by their respective manufacturers.
