Red Dragon Snakebite Lunar SE 24g Darts

When I saw these come out, they looked like a must have set. (The fact that I’m a Snakebite fan probably helped too)

Initially I was just looking at the darts, not what they represented the - 50^th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing.

These are the exact profile of Wright’s Mamba 2 series, the key differences are that these are not Green, and the standard points have been ‘upgraded’ to Trident points. The fact that they are not bright green doesn’t detract from their visual appeal; they are still a great looking dart.

A touch less than 55mm and just over 6mm in Diameter the Lunar SE has a different feel than the Regular Mamba Darts. I found that with the tapered nose and the Trident points, the feel was that the dart was a single entity. There was no clear division between point and barrel, in my opinion that’s not a bad thing it makes finding the right grip point or balance point easier. The Mamba Grip is in two sections with a smooth area on each side of the grip. So, it’s easier to remember where to hold the dart.

The Tapered nose helps reduce the impact of dart to dart contact and combined with the Trident points would reduce Damage to your flights. Being a thin barrel it’s easier to pack them all into one corner of a treble Once again I had to tweak the flights and stems to make them work for me but, the results were rewarding.
