The Mission Red Dawn features a bomb design incorporating a large radius nose. There is a ringed central region and a smaller micro-ringed portion located at the rear of the barrel. During the dart’s production, the barrel undergoes both black and red electroplating, providing a sharp contrast to the tungsten that’s exposed by our precision re-machining process. The Mission logo, laser-etched into the rear of the barrel, completes the stunning Mission Red Dawn.

A great looking dart for someone who is looking for something a little different. These are a shorter style dart by Mission. At an overall length of 45mm and a diameter of just over 7mm they are a similar profile to other Bullet or Torpedo shaped darts but unique in their look and style. They have a rounded nose with a short section of alternating red and black grooves at the front and then tapering back to the threaded end. There are some smaller square cut micro grooves in the centre of the black coating at the rear of the dart.
This barrel would be easily suited to any type of grip, front, rear or centre. Remember it’s a bit shorter than the average 50mm parallel barrel.
It’s a practical barrel with not too much unneeded glitz. The points are standard length, but because the barrels are shorter they feel longer. I found that I could actually throw these straight out of the box, I normally need to fiddle with the shaft length before they feel “right” for me.
In the hand they feel very nice, the balance is obviously to the front, but the length and the smooth coated areas on the barrel help with the location of your fingers.
Being in my preferred weight range I took to these straight away. Throwing them is very intuitive, It’s like I had them for years, but I don’t have another set like them. I initially discounted these as a potential playing set, but I really like everything about them.
At this price point, why not!
